You Are My Sunshine is a Maternity-Baby Boutique and Childbirth Education Center. Owners Carmen and Jeff have two beautiful daughters that are the inspiration for the business and for the endless search for healthier products and lifestyle choices. Carmen is a certified Doula and ALACE trained Childbirth Educator in Wilmington, NC. All of the posts here come from the heart and from dedicated research into what is healthy for our children. What is surprisingly ‘normal’ in our culture may not always be the most natural way. As parents, we realize that making informed choices is what we owe to our children.

so truly, what can we do in an effort to help keep midwifery alive in wilmington? i know that we can complain, but does anyone any have ideas of where we can direct our concerns to show that there is a great need for our midwives? losing them makes me so sad.
